Well after a long and exhausting (but exciting) weekend in the city I learned a few new things to share with you all about thrifting.
1.”Vintage” clothes=thrifted clothes
2. Take the hassle out of thrift shopping by going to “vintage” boutiques, or consignment shops.
Unfortunately, Harrisonburg doesn’t have too many vintage shops, but we do have a couple of consignment stores that can certainly satisfy your fashion needs.
Consignment stores are different from thrift stores because they will not just take ANY item given to them, they have to be brand name, in season, and cannot have holes or imperfections. So your time of hunting for something quality is cut literally in half!
Those are the two consignment stores in the area, not only have I found great clothes there, but I have also brought clothes (they give you 50% of what they sell it for) as a great way to earn some extra cash.
Be sure to send me some pics if you find some blogworthy “vintage” items this week!
